The important point is the storage of the Petroleum and the space selected is in an exceedingly sheltered position and is shown on the Plan as an area
of about 400 feet by 200 feet.
15. The area is separated from the works portion by the Public Road and communication will be only by means of pipes protected from leakage by being laid either in a subway or in a special rain.
16. The Tank storage space is taken as far to the South Bast as practicable and the space that is pro- posed to be utilized at first is about 200 fest by 200 feet as marked by the letters A.B.C. and D. and the area C.D.E.F is reserved for future sxtension of
the Industry.

The area is very well protected and will be nearly entirely in deep cutting as shown by the Sec- tion on Plan and the contour Lines on the Plan, the North East side is protected by the knoll and spur marked G.H. which can be left untouched if so required- 18. According to the Colonial Regulations the whole of the space enclosing the tanks must be com- pletely surrounded with strong walls so as to form a reservoir of sufficient capacity to hold the entire capacity of the tanks.
19. We propose to make the limit of the space sanctioned for erection of Tanks at C.F.G. or 100 feet from the North East siie of the reclaimed ground and 240 feet from the signal post of the Telegraph Cables
